Annual Open Enrollment: October 15 – December 7, 2026. You can switch or join a plan.
New coverage starts: January 1, 2027.
Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment: January 1 – March 31, 2027. If you have an Advantage plan, you get one chance to switch.
Turning 65? Your window opens 3 months before your birthday month and closes 3 months after it.

Can I change my Medicare plan?
Yes, during Open Enrollment (Oct 15 – Dec 7). If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you can also switch once between Jan 1 and Mar 31. Some life changes give you a special window too.
